The Object of Desire

Sometimes, things can't be said in person and instead the pixels on a screen will have to do. Taking a candid view of a long-distance relationship, 'The Object of Desire' is just that; showcasing that something that was once fresh and exciting, can become monotonous and destructive.

Based partly on a true story - luckily ours doesn't end quite as ominously - this film aims to capture those that watch it, lulling them in with cute good morning texts and loved-up selfies. Whether the viewer is reminiscing on a time with an ex, thanking the heavens that they don't have problems like this, or realising that someone is stringing them along like the sentences of a text - this film is purposely left unanswered. Something that love can do to us all.
