"A Bloody Inconvenience"
"A Bloody Inconvenience" draws on the overproduced, unrealistic and, at times, offensively comedic representation of menstruation in the media. The full project comprised of a short film, research workbook and supporting evaluative essay. It set out to challenge archaic menstrual taboos, bring closure to its creator and highlight that — despite what the adverts tell you — periods aren't always a horseback in the park.
